Starbolts #396: The War at Home

Hail!

Civil wars often rip families apart and it looks like the same thing happened to Sabina's family. Her sister backed the side that was working with the bugs. That's definitely not a good look for them is it? Nope. No way. Still, I think she might turn a corner given what is going to happen very soon. Starbolts #400's script is almost done and to shake things up a bit things might wrap up in #399. We'll see. Right now it looks like the team is heading to a final battle with the rebels. Will they win the day and finally go home? We shall see!

I've been namedropping Sara a lot lately haven't I? This may have something to do with the next storyline I'm working on. My friend, Sam, and I created Sara for the prose story and we've been working on getting her back. We've basically planned out the next one hundred comics. So, you can expect more action and excitement.

For right now I am planning the next video. I haven't decided what I want to do. It might be X-Men Gold #30 or Action Comics #1000. Perhaps I should flip a coin.

See you next time!

Starbolts #395: Imperfect Copies

 Hail!

I didn't think the universe was ready for two of Marcus and Crystal. Did you? I didn't think so. The poor heroes had their uniforms incinerated by Sabina. Oh, Sabina. Marcus is probably kicking himself for actually thinking that she and Firaxil were a GOOD idea. Don't worry about Firaxil. We'll find someone nice for him, soon. Sooner than he thinks anyway. =)

Well, we are on our way to #400 and I actually have the second half of the comic scripted. No spoilers, but, it should be good. Not just saying that because I am the writer. Next week we'll see more action as this comic marches on. So far it looks like Firaxil is wishing he HAD stayed back on Earth. Sometimes you just can't go home again.

See you next time!

Starbolts #394: Hostile Takeover

Hail!

At first it doesn't look like the Inobe know what they got themselves into. Now the tables have turned! Will the Xazes get to the others in time? Hope so. We got six more comics left of this story and I promise it will not disappoint. Still, I have to admit something. I think Sabina just can't get it through her thick skull that Crystal does not like her much.

There's a very simple reason why Crystal and Marcus kissed and she doesn't get it. It isn't lust. It's more the fact that Crystal is stressed out at the moment. She was happy to see the one constant she has in her life right now because she knows she's gonna have to deal with her parents SOON. She is not looking forward to that, my friends.

Oh and when I made that Avengers pose, I totally had the theme going. I had to add those lines in there because it was a great opportunity to do so. Now I think I might watch the first Avengers movie.

See you all next time!

Starbolts #393: Driven Heroes

Hail!

You are not prepared for feels this week. No way. I had a hard time revisiting Starbolts #19 and redoing the panels from way back then. I may have made some changes. If you want to see the old version, click here:  https://www.deviantart.com/art/Starbolts-19-World-in-Chains-315054168

The first thing I upgraded was  Princess's version 1.0 armor. She now sports a purple getup. Then I changed the background. Man, this comic has gone through a lot of changes from #19 to now. It's almost four hundred comics later and now things have definitely changed. I figured I'd show just how Sara died because we needed a refresher and it's going to come into play later. If you guessed that the next arc is going to be about Sara, then you are correct.

However, before we get there our buddy Firaxil is going to have to go through a trial by fire that will tax him emotionally and physically. I hope he can handle it.

Meanwhile, Crystal has been dealing with Sabina. She's more than just a drop-dead gorgeous ginger. I can tell you that much. Marcus is charging to her rescue, but, it looks like she's doing fine. She could do with backup. After all. The Starbolts work best as a team. Really love how the last panels turned out. Sara would be proud. And next comic things are gonna get BROKEN!

See you then!
