Starbolts #232: Changing the Past

Hail!

What a comic this week, huh? I redid the flashback scene from Starbolts #102 and that was a lot of fun to do. You can see the original here for comparison:  http://starbolts.blogspot.com/2011/01/starbolts-101-and-102.html A lot has changed in the comic in the three years since I posted that, huh? Aquita's sprite has changed. So has Robkas. The background, too, also got a serious upgrade. Good thing I did upgrade. The new sprite template makes everything SO much easier to animate and make motions better. I guess you could say I "George Lucas'd" my work. Unlike him, I don't intend to do it often. Maybe if I show past scenes, I will. But, for now? Nah. Not so much.

Older Robkas arguing with himself was fun to write. It's hard to argue with someone who is a younger and more arrogant version of yourself, isn't it?

Anyway, I plan to have a new video up soon. Things came up and I had a delay of sorts. Rest assured, a new video IS coming. I'll be reviewing Captain Marvel #1 and it should be a fun ride. I also plan on reviewing quite a few other comics. So, keep a look out for that.

See you next time!

  1. I hate to be that guy who points out possible paradoxes, but will Sirak knocking out past Robkas mean he won't make it to the diplomatic mission, thereby causing a chain reaction that could possibly create even more ripples in time or maybe even destroy the universe (best case scenario, the damage being limited to merely our own galaxy)?

    1. LOL. Young Robkas will still make it to the diplomatic mission. Good point, though. Next comic will explain that. Young Robkas is only knocked out for a couple minutes. He'll wake up with no memory of the last hour of his life. The last thing he'll remember is trying to bed Aquita. Hmm...Maybe I should have made it a longer period of time?
